Hey Now. J-Roll has been taking a much deserved break the last 2 weeks. Tony is working on producing his new material. The CD will be released under the name AJC Band. This is a collection of music written in the month of August 2010. So the CD title will be ..obviously "August"
Why did this all happen in August? ...Don't ask him while he is sober.
Featured on the CD will be all members of J-Roll. John, Dave and Steve, along with many local artists.
This record promises to packed full of raw emotion and a wide variety of instrumentation.
AJC (aka Tony) hopes to have this out sometime in late October...
A full blown record release party will follow ...
Please drop us a line and tell us what yer thinkin'.

Summer Jams
Jellyroll will be playing many private parties throughout the summer. Last night j-roll played a college grad party in Bridgewater. Now Grad parties are similar to weddings because of the diverse crowd. ...Blue and Gray hair mixed with over dyed and heavily hair sprayed types. For the men ...dipsy doodles, salt and pepper, and the guy who used the entire bottle of grecian hair dye.
Playing to that crowd is a challenge. While there were no panties thrown at us, we did manage to get a few on the dance floor.
During the request hour...switching from AC/DC to Cat Stevens can be dangerous to any musicians mental health. I am sure all the guys in J-Roll are recovering on Sunday with a drink in hand and the thousand yard stare.
There are still some dates open this summer so if you think you need a band....get on it.
I'm gonna stick my face in the freezer and make some ugly-sickles.

The long ride home
As if it's not enough to drive home from gigs at 3am....sometimes the guys end up driving fans home. If you find yourself completely inebriated...or if you just can't feel your face...it may be a good idea to not drive home. Hey, we have all been there. If you are local and don't mind sitting on music gear, ask one of the band for a lift.
Now I won't lie....girls always get first available seat and we will even call a taxi for your boyfriend.
